Website Reflection

In my point of view, this whole project has been long and tedious but we got through it. I think the building process of my group's website was pretty good. We all worked at the same pace and understood what we had to do quickly. We all clicked to what was supposed to be done and finished early. That's what I liked about the "website" portion of the assignment. It was very understandable and not difficult. I feel that my group worked really well on our website. I don't really think that I have anything to improve. I think I did everything well and confident that if I was to do this again, I would completely understand how to do it and would do better then I did this time. I think that we took our time with using the "tools". We just learned it and I liked how you gave us more time to adjust to the websites we were using. There wasn't any that went to fast but maybe the diigo articles part went a bit too slow. We took two weeks to find six articles. I might have only did three but that's just pure laziness. That's bad on my part. To teach these tools in the future, I suggest just teach at the student's pace like you did with us. This was all new to us and we needed time to have the idea click in our head. This project might have took forever but it was fun learning about new things. I never new but always wondered how to make a website, or write a group paper on a online website, so it's easy to access. People might have complained, and I have too, but, I actually liked doing this project. It opened my eyes to the world's conflicts and made me understand what the news is actually talking about.

Research Paper Reflection

This research paper has been stressful, confusing, and altogether hard, but, I'm so glad it's done. My group, LMOJ, chose Libya as our topic for our paper. Libya has so much information that I was overwhelmed with what I should write. I think my group did their part and worked hard to get our paper to meet the standards. We all did what we were supposed to do, even if it took more than a couple of hours. I don't really think my group needed to improve on anything. Maybe organizing our paper but I think that's probably it. I think I individually did my section well. To my point of view, I think that i have a lot of information to the point where i don't have 1000 words. I have twelve-hundred something words. I feel like I set the background of the protests and why the Libyans were so anti-government. Even though I think I did great, I do think I should have improved my preparing skills. I set up myself to working four hours on this paper. I feel that I should have worked on this essay little by little into the due date, not working on it all on the day before it was due. It was very overwhelming but was worth it. This link is talking about the beginning of the protests and even shows a video of people in Libya protesting...http://www.leftandrightnews.com/2011/02/23/death-toll-soars-in-libyan-protests/.
